One of the hippest cities in the world, Berlin is full of clubs, discos, bars, pubs and venues offering live music. Tango and hot cabarets are also available alternatives for the evenings in this very diverse city.

If staying in western Berlin, conspicuous good timers will be at ease in Charlottenburg’s Savignyplatz; punks and political activists usually go for a drink in Kreuzberg while those up for all-nighters prefer the area around Nollendorfplatz. Nollendorfplatz is the choice for those over forty. A more diverse and mixed environment can be found in Central Schoneberg bars.

In eastern Berlin, Mitte and Friedrichshain are good choices. Nice cafes and pubs can also be found in Oranienburger Strasse and around Knaackstrasse, in Prenzlauer.

Clubs

The party never stops in Berlin’s clubs. Partying days are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Clubs open by midnight and peak by 2 or 3am. Admission is cheaper than in other European cities, usually ranging from 5 to 10€. With some 200 different options, it can be difficult to find the right one for you. Here is our selection:
